Swedish Prime Minister Levine uses his original list to form a new government
On July 9th local time, according to a Swedish TV station, after weeks of political turmoil, Levin proposed his new government list.
"There is no surprise at all, no new name." said Elizabeth Malmostein, a commentator on Swedish domestic policy. The biggest difference is who will replace the resigned Minister of Rural Affairs Jeanne Nelson, who is currently in charge of Ibrahim Baylan, the Minister of Industry and Commerce. The Minister of Industry and Commerce Ibrahim Baylan said, “An important task is to continue to formulate forest policies, which are important to the Swedish people and also important to the formulation of climate and environmental policies. It will provide new employment opportunities for the country. And sustainable growth."
This is the third time the Levin government has taken office. The first time was after the 2014 general election, and the second time after the 2018 general election, he took office in January 2019 after long-term government negotiations. Levin has not made any major adjustments to the cabinet, and this time he also formed a new government with exactly the same list.
Previously, Swedish Prime Minister Levin lost in a vote of no confidence in the Swedish parliament on June 21, becoming the first Swedish prime minister to be removed by a vote of no confidence during his term of office. On June 28, Levine announced his resignation as prime minister. In a vote in the Swedish parliament on July 7, Levine once again became the prime minister of Sweden.
